The sinks and toilet at my new house have been backing up and then draining slowly, I’m pretty much out of money at this point so getting a plumber was not really an option, well no until everything started emptying into my yard.

Toilet paper and shit (I like to pretend its mud) everywhere.

So the plumber comes out the next morning and uses 40feet of pipe snake to drill through whatever it was and all is well. -$230

….however the toilet is still backing up, when flushed anout 50% of the time the water will rise to just under the rim and them slowly drain over 4-5 minutes, after that its possible to flush with a bucket. Good times.

So feeling brave and having watched the plumber work, I’m now and expert. I head outside and open the inspection cover…looking in I can see a slight trickle of water, I grab my garden hose and spay back up the pipe for a bit, nothing, then i start feeding the hose up the pipe into the house.

Paper, water, paper, comming out. Sweet.

So I try more aggressively…lots and lots of paper and the toilet inside started to drain. Pretty gross as it did so onto my hands.

Yep, fun and games.

My first shift is almost over.

Now watching tv in a empty building is pretty sweet, I’d love a game of soldat though.
Pretty sleepy, looking forward to heading home to see just what level of disaster $1038 movers bought me. They were finishing while I was at work.

This house crap is pretty expensive. I hope its worth it.

Edit 07-02-2008: Got roller shutters yesterday. My bedroom is almost completely dark.
Getting aircon today.

Both great for graveyard, moreso with 12 hour shifts, I like them but they are tiring.
Sadly though I seem to be reliving my previous experience, moving right as the company enters retard mode…and I just bought a house. Yeeeha.
