FUCK those guys. I’ve been burnt twice by them. I’ll never go back.
The first time I went in I specifically asked for my alternator to be replaced.
They told me my battery was fucked. Later that week, magically my new one was drained. Another visit later I got my alternator.
I didnt bitch then as while they were retarded a new battery is probably a good idea after alternator problems.
Anyway I went back about 8 weeks ago, yeah I had doubts but I’ve spent time there and money, been visibly nice and patient with them, to me this should equal being treated well.
Guess not or:
1. They wouldn’t have double billed me for labor.
$25 for a headlight adjustment (Turning a screw) as an additional item.
2. The mechanic would have put my fucking car back together.
I really doubt all the bolts on the left hand side of my stone shield MAGICALLY vanished or vibrated out at the same time.
3. Oil leaks are great. I’ve never had one before though.
Hopefully the search engines grab my whinge and they lose a customer or two.
On my way to work today the sump guard fell onto my wheel as I was going around a corner. Later I made temporary repairs and limped home to add more cable ties of mystery.
Even though plastic computer cable ties are kinda dodgy, its still better than the NOTHING the TRAINED MECHANICS had in there.
