Lots of Asians here.It’s kinda depressing that the first thing I’ve done thus far today is catch up on my bittorrent stuff while paying $3AUD for 10 minutes of hotel internet.

Farted on people CONSTANTLY through the whole flight.
Filled my pockets with free too toothbrush kits from the plane bathroom.
Rode in a new BMW last night from the airport.

It’s much like Vietnam thus far. Already trashed the hotel room, already been ripped off a few times already had icecream.

The bellboy that checked us in, carried our crap to the room and set us up to meet his friend with an overpriced car in the morning six hours from now.

Going to fuck him though, he thinks we are going to go buy suits from “his friend” probably going to patpong market and ditching him instead.

Not too sure what it’s all about.

Driver arrived in the morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and they screwed us on the price. 300BHT ($10AUD) each. Very nice though.

I like Thai orange juice much better than ours, it is not bitter or acidic at all, just sweet.

Anyway, we met the driver afterwards as arranged, he was a little unhappy at first that we didn’t want to go suit shopping, he perked up when he learned that we wanted to hire him for the day though.

He had a folder of photos of suggested tourist places. We picked a few, discussed prices and off we went.

We first went to a floating market. It was not really what I expected, I thought It would be on a river or the beach or something, like big rafts.

It was a bunch of (I think) man made canals the were interlinked, the banks were lined with vendors and stalls, the river was completely full of boats, some of which were also vendors. Completely packed.

We were paddled up and down for probably an hour, not because there was lots to see, it was simply that full of boats the there was a constant scraping sound as the boats rubbed together.0

Afterwards we drove (Aircon thank god) to the elephant and crocodile park, we fed baby elephants by hand, they dont make trumpet sounds that are kinda squeaky. The chained ones looked really sad, their eyes bugged out and looked desperate for food

I fed some crocs a bucket of meat for 20B and we wached a show with two tiny Asian performers in a enclosure with crocs, they introduced then with star wars theme music, and played Hawaii-5-0 while hitting them with sticks and messing around.

One guy did a slip and slide up to and over a croc. Amusing.

Saw a magic show, introduced by the superman movie theme.
Not bad, usual stuff, one guy seemed to be a robot, that made me happy.

The elephant show was kinda crap, wandered off.

After this we saw Thai boxing and some sword play at a place called the rose garden.

Day 2.

Today we are going to the tiger temple, and some other stuff, oh yes riding elephants through the jungle or something and a train.
